Hey guys...
I'm a Sysop in SSCC Star Wars Empire and would like to grant one of my staff members the following kind of access:
Sysop access in selected arenas only
SMod access in all other arenas
Is there any way to do this? I have been successful in using the
+playername:arena
syntax to grant Sysop access only in selected arenas, but I have been unsuccessful in granting SMod access in other arenas... any way I can make this work?
Alternatively my original solution was to use arena owner to give this guy the ability to ?getfile and ?putfile in selected arenas, but apparently those commands don't work. Any ideas why?

Just put him on smod.txt? hmmm... he will need to enter the smod password, though. And probably enter the sysop password for the arena he has sysop in.
But honestly, doing this is totally useless... if he has sysop powers in one arena, he can *getfile sysop.txt, and put himself as a full sysop.
So, if you really trust him, just give him sysop.
If you don't want to give him sysop, give him ownership.
?putfile and ?getfile don't work. However, arena owners can ?setlevel themap.lvl
Only thing they can't do is upload lvz files...

Ah, thanks! I'll restrict him to arenaowner and tell him to use ?setlevel to upload maps and such.

?setlevel will ONLY allow him to upload the .lvl file of that map, though.
