Post subject: I got the Nintendo Wii on pre-order today!

I waited three hours in line at Times Square Toys R' Us to get the Nintendo Wii pre-order. I was eleventh in line and I pre-ordered The Wii and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I'm going to the huge launch party next week, and I'm getting thr console on launch, but most likely I'm getting it later that day because it will be too late to travel with a new console at night in Times Square. I have to take the subway so I might get robbed. But I am getting it on the launch day.

Did anyone else get it? And for all of you PS3 fanboys, sorry to burst your bubble but, it sucks. I played it a few times and it sucks. Yes, it sucks. No, no, no; it sucks.

So that I'm guaranteed to get one the first day it launches. I want it the first day it launches because I've been waiting too long for its arrival.

Last console I bought was a Dreamcast. Kicked ass then, still does now. Just burn a CD, play old ROMs. I was in the XBox repair business, but I never keep a working one more than a week.

I'm going to try to get there at 8am, but I think that Toy's R' Us opens at 11 on Sunday (like it did today), so I'll just have to get there at 11. I'm going to the launch party the night before though. I'm in no rush to get my console now. I'm definitely getting one now.

same here, the last console i bought was a dreamcast with a few games. MSR kicks ass for a racing game. i especially like the controllers for the dreamcast.

it's a pity dreamcast got put down so early. i wish they were still making games for the dreamcast. but oh well, i guess i'll download some games and burn them to CD.
