I was saying they hire people who don't know what they are doing. They are supose to be there to help people who have no idea what to do. |

I call my isp, they tell me my ip is dynamic and they can't change it. I go to linksys and they told me how to do a hard factory default, Everything is reset back to 0. But then even after I change my modems ip (connecting directly to pc and typing ipconfig) I connect it to my router, it won't connect, after I recycle power to the router and modem it will connect, but with my old ip. How can I make my LinkSys BEFSR41 (version 1) router not go back to the old IP.
![]() Oh and yes, the ip is different when it is connected directly to my pc. |
