Geisha's where not whores, though they did sell their virginity off to the highest bidder, but other than that they didn't have sex for money. However, plenty of whores dressed like Geisha, americans went over to japan, saw this - and in our special way of throwing all groups into one catagory decided that the Geisha, whom were trained in the arts from very young ages, are whores because of the "fake" Geisha's that spent most of their day sitting infront of a window waiting to be taken in the back and fucked.
