Post subject: Using two routers, need help
Hey, my parents are being stupid and running our Netowork like the following:

Modem->Belkin Router->Linksys Router->My computer

The belkin and linksys give my family wireless while I am directly connected to the router. The problem is, I need to forward ports, and I can only connect to the Linksys Router, and my family REFUSES to let me use their wirless connections to connect to the belkin router to forward ports. Please suggest a way that I can forward the Belkin ports!

(Note: I cant switch the router positions)

Ummm why are they using two routers? There's absolutely no reason for doing that, so just convince them that they don't need to.

Ever hear of Wireless bridges?

Google it.

Good luck. I hope that helps.

I'm pretty sure a bridge connects one LAN, to another, but I could be mistaken. I think the correct terminology would be, a switch or a hub (, because he's on the same line and also splitting the bandwidth between his wireless and router, there not two different LANs)?
