Post subject: Difference between as3 windows/linux modules
What is the difference between as3 windows/linux modules? How can you tell for what each one is made for.

The python modules will work on both platforms. .dll files are for windows and the .so files are for linux.

No, but you can do that if you want to go the hard way.

Not really, you need a windows compiler for windows, and a linux compiler for linux. Other than really low level modules, the code is identical.
