Zone Hosting / Advertising - ASC GunShell

Post subject: ASC GunShell

Several days ago my new zone called GunShell was brought online. We just finished up the most important parts.

Game: The main focus of the game is a simple flagging game with 10 flags along with 2 additional games, Balling (incl. a mini base) and KoTH. I never want too much mumbo jumbo in pub, I'd like to keep people focussed on the same game. The map has 3 bases and with these kind of settings hopefully basing will be something else.

Map/Settings: The map is totally unsymetrical, which I think really improves the gameplay. Next to that it has 1 tile wide walls (to give that old-school, nostalgic kind of look) combined with old tiles my brother (AnacondA) once made for T3 Armageddon (SSC). I tried to create as much varity in the settings as possible. Our first sub-arena is .?go duel.

Event:Upcoming weekend, Saturday, I'll be organizing an event, Jackpot winners will receive an additional amount of points. There will be more info about this event on our forums at www.gsforum.us.tp, so don't forget to drop by and have a peak!

Yup i made the tileset for his map a long time ago for a old zone called Armageddon. The signature is quite old aswell and i made that one for a player called "Adept Player" but since he never uses it anymore (i hope lol) i gave it to my bro. The zone he made is indeed promesing, i dueled in there and the duels are pretty exiting and take abit longer then normal. Quite fun if you ask me.

I like the zone alot, very SVSish settings and nicely a nicely constructed map.
I would recommend this zone to anyone.

Blahaa, im sry but wtf is your problem? Someone is trying to lift a new zone from nothing (and thats quite a job, right?) and all i hear from you is crap. Why dont you say something about the positive sides? A new zone aint perfect, but keeping hammering on defects aint goin to make it better right? Keep it clean and orginized! Keep it .NET!

Anyways, no I haven't been paid to do this, I like the zone very much in fact and I play there sometimes.

How do I sound like a sheep? I sound like a sheep by expressing my opinion over the zone?

hehe yeah Purge, the maps have similar style, too bad that zone died, I liked the map (unlike the tiles) but yea.. the bots couldn't get hosted anymore, so it was pretty much doomed
