Well, just like I thought, the damn thing didn't work.
Way to waste hours upon hours d/l that shit.
I guess I could develop for DX now if I wanted...
So, once again, if anyone can hack out whatever compression (or possibly even encryption) is on these files, maybe make me an app to produce out the uncompressed stuff, much appriciated.

It's pretty obviously compressed. It's definitely not raw DEFLATE and, as far as I can tell, not zlib-wrapped either.

I don't expect it to be any harder than hacking out the 8-bit or 16-bit compression method used for Infantry's files.
Decent hackers should be able to figure the sequence out and reverse it.
Sigh, I just want to be able to view the source files.
Now that I d/l all sorts of DDS viewers, all I need is the compression gone.
Custom Made Uncompress anyone?
