I have a USB Lexmark z515 printer, that I would like to connect my other computer over a wireless network to print from. I was wondering is it posible to print things from other locations to a USB printer?

Create a network and allow the printer on it.

Go to My Network Places and hit "Set up a home or office network" on the left side of the window. Just run through the wizard and it should give you the option of adding printers to the network.

That says only for a regular parallel port type thing. It wont detect it on the network though, why?

Umm, just share the printer. (Control Panel -> Printers -> Select print, right-click "properties")

And that avatar is really annoying.

Some 3rd party firewalls block windows file and printer sharing, have a look at their settings.

Probably, I would use just a normal router to test it out. Disable the rest of the firewalls and set it up. Make sure all computers are on the same network group. Look in My Network Place > Entire Network and see if you see icons with other computer names on them. Be sure you have printer sharing enabled. Run the printer setup on the computer needing to print something. Make sure you select network printer and direct it to the right place. Then try enabling the firewalls and do it again if it worked before. If not, port forward the printer and file sharing port on windows. I think it is port 139. You may want to check up on that on google. Anyways, I hope that long paragraph had some information you might have needed. I have to network a printer for Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP Home, And Windows XP Pro. The Windows ME doesn't like to print from Windows XP. I made it though :-P

Bow down to me Windows ME!

For the record, yes I know, Windows ME Sucks monkey balls.
