Hey every one I'm coming back to MGF since I have nothing better because of this and intill I get a law suit against the stupid host that one of my staff members bought with out asking me, I'll just have to work on my zone. I not going to act like a idiot any more as long as you please don't fight with me. I finally know C++ fully and under stand all the things you said I needed to "understand". BTW that really was my brother and I really ran away to utah to kill my GF (which I'm going to try again when I go on vacation to yellow stone). So I hope to a useless heap of infomation this time around.

P.S. Newb if you make me mad again, I'm going to rape your ass icon_biggrin.gif .

Yes, yes it is. *cough* but they don't know that*cough*.
That site is just a organization I made 5 years ago for scripting in Winbot and making IRC Java applets. Now it's a open source programming data base, not a porn site. I have the server with the Domain controller and every thing on it ready to host Blahertech.com ( I just need a few static IP's), but my friend "mistakenly" registered the site under Tripod and they won't take it down even though my friend asked them to. If your asking to just use the host, well I need a host with MySQL, and PHP 4.?.? or higher for our forums and some other good stuff and that host dosn't supplie it. I could use them with a frame to another host that dose, but I can't find the right host for free and I just want to sue Tripod anyways (Copyright infrengment).
Note: Yes newb, this is my life story so there's one question down for you (sexy).
BTW you can see porn if the people in the porn are under 18 them selfs (as long as your under 18 ). We have alot of those tapes in HS.

I still think there's memory in a pent. and a Xeon? Isn't that the diffence between a celr. and a pent.? Anyways I said I a wirless modem but I ment router, but I thinks it's funny too (you can learn alot in a year).

My knowledge isn't really up-to-date when it comes to CPUs, what we were taught at school was from a book from 1997.
The differences between "memory" or the cache? aren't the differences between Celerons and Pentiums. I think the differences between those would be the clock speed and bus speeds.

The major differences between a Pentium (4) and a Xeon is that (many) Xeons can be setup to work parallel, which makes them great for servers and workstations.

Thinking you have some high-speed hosting when you're hosting off a home broadband connection of course would be wrong, but if you do it anyway, please do not use a wireless connection, that's the most stupid thing you can do in that situation.

It's not even a year, and if you call this "alot" I guess I can understand why you act like a... hah k fine nvm.

The primary difference between celerons and pentiums is that the celerons lack hardware floating point processors and have to do all the floating point calculations in software. This makes them cheaper for things that don't use floats, like wordprocessing and webbrowsing. It makes them slower for games though.

The L1 and L2 caches are on board the CPU dies, I belive, but don't confuse these with memory. That's like confusing hard drive space and physical RAM size.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Celerons do have less cache than Pentiums. And clock speeds definitely aren't a difference, you can get a 2.6gHz Celeron or a 2.6gHz Pentium. It is true, however, that Intel has been pushing the P4 clock speeds just for show, but anything higher than around 3gHz doesn't matter for everyday purposes. (And you can easily overclock a celeron to match a P4.)

They might have cache size differences, but that's not the difference. A Celeron with a big cache is still a Celeron. A Celeron with a floating point coprocessor is *not* a Celeron.

Xeon also has a cach, but I still don't know what the differnce is between that and pent. and I don't know what a dual core is. I also know Centinos are used for notebooks and laptops but I don't know why they're so spiecal for them. google is your friend.

EE puts it best.
Xeon is made so intel can charge businesses that may need a multiprocessor motherboard more money as they manufacture regular pentium in such a way which prevents it from being used on multi-CPU boards (you can have two regular pents, cooperating, but that's all, above that you need xeon, which is expensive as you'll expect a manufacture line intended for large companies that need massive solutions...crooked operation if you ask me).

I find from personal experience AMD's seem to handle gaming a lot better than it's competitor Intel, i built my own PC with a 3400+ 64 Athlon XP and it's clocked at 2.2Ghz, no overclocking, though i hear it is easier to overclock than an Intel... It is most certainly faster than my brothers Intel P4 3.0Ghz and cost me £115 (GBP, not sure of $) from ebay, this was cheap at the time. Long live AMD.

Maybe i am being stereotypical but the people who buy Intel machines i would say are a victim of mass-marketing, Intel are very active on advertising here in the UK, AMD are not, at all, the only advertising AMD do is in the specs of pc's, your average consumer won't understand and so not read it, and in computer magazines, which your average consumer probably won't buy.

Joe Bloggs (Fictional) aged 45 see's intel P4 advertisments on his TV and logs in his mind Intel is the Nike of the computer world and so Joe goes to a PC store and see's two PC's, one an AMD and one an Intel P4, even though the AMD is probably the better machine for money, he buys the more expensive one and enjoys his 'Brand-name' PC.

I do appreciate however this is not always the case, some people just enjoy Intel, but the well-informed among us usually would opt for an AMD, the Sempron range are exceptionally good value for their potential.
