if your on a dial up conerction and want to test your zone but dont wana conect to the new all you have to do if start up your zone and in the continum zone menu just click on "add custom" but the zone ip as 127.0.0.1 and port as what port your zone runs in and the name of zone and bingo you can test your zone off line.

To test your bot to just change the ip under the MEVRbot.ini \to 127.0.0.1 as long as you run it off the same computer and you dont have to change it back to run it online, very simple, it works for me.

I dont have my computer in a lan with any others so it may not work in a lan setup. also this reduces you bots lag(very slightly) and you dont have to worriy about changing ip to enter your zones or for you bot to enter.

any qustions just ask me, i probly wont be able to anser them as just stumbled on to this by acdent.

Why are you saying people can just ask questions if you're pretty sure you wouldn't be able to answer them anyway?

How to test your zone offline:
Save your settings as local.cfg, map as local.lvl, run VIE's SubSpace client and choose "play offline".
Note: LVZs, flag games, soccer games, et cetra will not function.

Ya, I miss Play Offline. I think it should be brought into Continuum.

i used to just log in on dial up, spam the shit out of someone and get Disconnected. then i would log off of dial up and play with offline alone. Good practice.
