Google got smart and actually has their search engine block worms from searching phpbb forums. Now a new worm is running right now through lycos.nl and is hitting us. I don't even have a log of their webcrawler every touching here.. arg

The 403 blockage I setup a long time ago is hitting around 200 a second right now, so the forums maybe a little lagging for a bit. I'm thinking of renaming viewtopic to something else, as this is another keyword every worm searches. Worked for spammers.

Heh, that sucks. Where are the worms from?

I would actually block any search engine, but that wouldn't have stopped this. icon_confused.gif

Want me to send a removal request or anything?

There was 17944 total hits on these forums trying to exploit the %2527 bug. 7277 in just the last 6 hours.

Yeah MGB, I know you're allowing Google, which is why I said I'd block them all, as I did a while ago too. sa_tongue.gif

I must be the only one who'd hate my website getting indexed.

Subspace is rare enough that most people don't know this website exists until they are having problems. Also, PHPBB's internal search sucks ass. Really crappy.

Solo, maybe if you had your site on search engines I would be able to find it, your module tutorial was quality. Then it changed folders every week.

It only changed folders once, then it was taken offline because it was outdated.
