What is the diffrence between the two? And which is better?

IE is made by MS, which is lazy and doesn't prioritise the browser much or what certain people think should be the focus of the browser instead of its other features and also "everyone hate MS".
FireFox is made by the competitors for "better browsing experience".
Either should've never been in the disposal of the casual moron public who has no clue of how to operate a computer in our daily insecure reality.
Lets face it, it's a cruel cyberspace out there, and if you don't know how to survive, you have no business leaving the cave.

Firefox is better. Extensions rock.

I'm letting a proxy filter many things for IE, I'm not sure how secure it is compared to FireFox, but I don't really surf much anyway.

MGB posted a list of the extensions he uses here, for example.
Don't listen to Gus., he means the top-level domain ".com" or the file extension .com for executables, which aren't related to the type of extensions Dr Brain is talking about.

Use of proxy, or router and etc. is not a factor of which browser you use.
You should always complement your box's security with a galore of varying defensive mechanisms, both hardware and software.

wtf kind of stupid question is this.

Why not download Firefox and compare it to internet explorer, genius!?
Solo Ace - Sun Dec 04, 2005 11:41 am

Of course it hasn't much to do with which browser, but it actually helps making the setup a little more secure.

Quan, he should compare them to see which he'd prefer, but of course he has the rights to ask which we prefer. He shouldn't let his decision depend on it, though.

The new IE which is in beta can do everything that FF can do except that it isn't open-source. But who needs open-source, like really. I bet that 99% or more of FF users havn't modified the source.

I was playing my guitar earlier, and when I went to put it away, I bumped the server. As a result from bumping the server, it started making a weird noise and froze, lol. So I shut it down a few minutes ago to give it some time to cool off and for me to take a look inside and see what's wrong. I'll post more when I find something out.

Go spread your contempt and hatred elsewhere, off my screen.

Hmm, what I'd like to know, is how me bumping my server have anything to do with you being retarded. My forums really have nothing to do with this one, and my age has nothing to do with this.

Just shut up and accept that MGB removed your mod powers from here. The year I was born also doesn't contribute to the maturity level that I have. Some can be mature and young, and some can be old and immature.
