Trash Talk - Running regular .exe files as services Solo Ace - Thu Nov 17, 2005 2:36 pm Post subject: Running regular .exe files as services
Is there any way to run a regular .exe as a system service without any GUI showing up? I'd like to put my filtering proxy as a system service.
Any software you can recommend which can take care of this? Or would I need to redesign the program completely? Maverick - Thu Nov 17, 2005 3:10 pm Post subject:
I'm not kidding here, but Im positive you should use wincron.

Anything else? I'm not looking for spyware, I'm looking for a program that does what it's supposed to do.

Or could use the Microsoft supplied srvany.exe if you like command lines.
