Post subject: Having anough of Spyed MGB and Members?

I'm starting to think that Spyed is one of the main problems of Idiotic posts, Flaming, Bring every body's IQ down listing him answer, and making MGB work over time. The reason you can tell for this is he has 25 Junked post (43% of all all the junked posts), has had three punishments, and is just a complete idiot (more idiotic then me when I start getting frustrating and everything on the Forums screen's look like Chinese from my headache.) along with him and Quan and sombody eles fighting all the time or setting bait down to feed this monster. When I first came here I always thought of it as a server help forums as seen above, but now I'm just thinking it's a place for idiots to come and spam along with programmers. Most forums now aday would not take a spaming idiot like this and would just get rid of them or ban on the first hint of one. Now if only MGB can find that perminate Ban button.....

I think MGB is aware of what Spyed is doing, blah-er. I guess he just wants to give him another hundred or so chances.

You don't have to suck up to MGB, it's obvious he can handle whatever Spyed is doing to these forums. He just didn't do what most of the sane members want him to do, although I guess it's just a matter of time.

I do agree Spyed is very annoying. I personaly do not have a grudge against him, and is bearable, but his posts are complete bs, which overall just lowers the Server helps image (it is good so far

). Take a look at ssforum.net, the main image that goes through most peoples mind is flameage, lets hope this image isn't passed here.
I am pretty sure MGB has his reasons for keeping here, probaly becuase some of his post are entertaining (and useless), and that he is active.

Both are incorrect. I've already stated the reason I'm giving him chances, to attempt to actually become productive here. I don't ban him for the same reasons none of you above are banned: where is the line? Who says that one person is acceptable and the other isn't?

Well, me. But the forums belong to the users, not the admin, and many forum admins do not recognize this. I like to think of myself as pretty damn forgiving. Hell, I'd readd Gravitron as a moderator again if he'd want the position, as usually his judgment is pretty accurate.

But what if almost everyone who does contribute actually want a specific user out? In Quan's case, he actually contributes (asking programming questions, which draws out useful information from people like Ekted) to these forums, though many of you dislike him. Smithy did something, though I can't remember, but he has quieted down greatly. In Spyed's case, he hasn't really done anything BUT trash talk. And even then, its AOL speak without the horrible numbers/abbreviations.

So why still have him here, when I know I could possible lose some of the valuable people who do contribute? I guess Gravitron is the best answer. Up until that point, Server Help forums never had any trouble beyond random spam bots or one-time issues, and I reacted in a way that was incorrect, and lost a good person that day. There is no real way for almost any of you to understand why Grav is the answer, but it is the hidden reason behind it all.

I've never had trouble with Spyed. Most of the topics that there is trouble in are pretty dumb to begin with and aren't worth my time reading. :d

Seems like you don't know anything about SSF. SSF has way less spammage and flameage then MGB forums. Nonetheless, you can't compare the both thus your statement is utterly bs.

I suggest we at least some rules or at least some guild lines to follow like stop going off topic unless there's another question related. I know we have them but even though no body follows them or even reads the rules.

SSF has less flaming. But the amount of locked topics there if ONE person goes off topic is utterly ridiculous.

There should also be rules on the signature size. Do you relise how far the horizontal scroll bar in Mozilla Firefox is?

MGB, why do you exactly keep the morons like Quan and Spyed if "the users that contribute" want them to go?
You draw the line, but the whining from the less annoying people is quite a good indication of what's acceptable and what isn't.

I really don't understand your hidden reason for keeping Spyed (or maybe Quan) here in what you just said.
Ori is completely different and has a completely different attitude and shouldn't be compared to Spyed in any way.
I hope you didn't mean you'd be afraid to lose a good person when you ban Spyed.

I wouldn't want to see Ori with any powers here, though, but I can only guess how that'd be.
