ASSS Questions - Eclipse + Making Mods Anonymous - Tue Oct 18, 2005 1:28 am Post subject: Eclipse + Making Mods
I'm trying to use the Eclipse IDE (with CDT for C files, and mingW for the gcc compiling) on Win XP. Does anyone have experience with this? These complex IDEs are really foreign to me, I'm not used to windows compiling. Should a project just be the module files? How can I only compile one module while keeping it within the project of my ASSS server? Are there tutorials on this?

To clarify, I'm using a windows binary with full source. I don't care about compiling the server itself right now, because I've got all sorts of dependency issues with that.

The problem seems to be that I can't figure out how to build from the makefile in the module directory.

What compiler are you using, mister?

Quan, be quiet.
Guest, I've tried using Eclipse to do the ASSS stuff but I've never had any luck. This might be a question better suited for the Eclipse forums or mailing lists (whichever they have).
