Trash Talk - The need of a Server Help IRC channel (bonus useless stats)

Post subject: The need of a Server Help IRC channel (bonus useless stats)
Someone want to create a Server Help IRC channel? I personally won't ever use it, but it seems that the forums need it for a specific few users.

Most notably, a new user named Spyed. This month alone, one user has 10% of the total page requests. Sure, the bandwidth is low since everything is cached, but still. 10% of the total page views on this site are from one user. That is a lot of F5ing. Hell, he even beats the Googlebot, which is not included with the total statistics.

The next highest is only 5%. So, someone want to create an IRC channel for people to share their Server Help insights and comments on?

More useless statistics:
Solo Ace proofreads more often than anyone else (72% of his posts), followed closely by no one. Shanky is the most worded author, with an average of 959.46 characters in his posts (mostly due to mass smiley spammming). Smithy is 3rd in least worded with 91.15 characters, and Spyed is following close in 5th place with 112.70 characters. The average forum user age is ~20, chopping off some of the extremes. Cyan~Fire is our most popular poster, with almost 4 posts per day.

All the other useless statistics can be found on the forum's statistics page.

I used to be on IRC all the time. I first started using the computer when I found out about IRC. I was exposed to programming and scripting on IRC. I made games and small scripts for fun. Anyone mind telling me what language I was scripting in? Bigshot mentioned it to me but I forgot to note it.

Anyway, what server would you want the channel to be on?

Weee. And no, nobody would use it but Spyed anyway, and he's too attention-hungry for that.

No sir. I quit using the computer when the blackout hit. Something went wrong with my PC and it had all of my scripts on it. I had to reformat. I should have saved my scripts to a floppy. I quit for a year. I got back on the computer in the 8th grade. I don't really like scripting on IRC anymore anywayz. It isn't amazing anymore.

Scripting on IRC? Okay...
Scripting for mIRC has never been amazing, just like the program you did it for.

I'm only on IRC when I have something to ask something to a specific group of people, like for Linux or programming help.
I'm not sure if I'd use a Server Help IRC channel, I probably wouldn't use it for the purpose given to it heh.
Just make sure you have one on EFNet. sa_tongue.gif

It was amazing to me is what Im saying. Im not saying that it was amazing to anyone else. I was a 6th grader. Scripting games of my own was amazing to me. Don't be a jack ass.

EFNet is full of hackers isn't it?

For those who don't know, there already is a SubSpace Dev IRC Chat. It's #sheepcloning on freenode. I suggest just using that.
