Question 1:

If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who
were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis,
would you recommend that she have an abortion?

Candidate A -- Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. He's had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B -- He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college, and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C -- He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
8 have been arrested for shoplifting
21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year...

Amateurs built a bunch of ships that fails while professionals built many working ships. And the titanic didn't crash on its own, it hit an iceburg.

Hrm, well, "Amateurs" should be singluar, "An amateur". And I don't recall the ark ever sinking, and it was one ship, not "a bunch of ships." So.. either you have no clue what you're talking about, or I misunderstood you o.O...

The Titanic is/was an embodiment for one of humanity's worst shortcomings - pride.
They actually truely believed they made a ship so awesome, the peak of engeering capability, as that it couldn't possibly sink.
And to add sin to crime, they neglected to outfit it as appropriate per safety standards with accompanying rescure-boats (well, it souldn't sink, right? so why bother...

)

So, when the ship did crash and sunk, the passengers had no where to go and it's why so many of them died (there were like 9 boats out of required 100 or so) and why this blunder is so well known.

there's no way you could have rebuilt the gene pool of all species from just two of each kind (over the last ~7000 years). The ark is more of a fable than a true account.

Plus God was helping Noah, and God is omnipotent so of course the ship didn't sink.

90% of statistics are made up on the spot.

Now for some real statistics on races passing the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test in my school (it is ludicrously easy):

White: 65% reading, 84% math.
Black: 18% reading, 42% math.
Hispanic: 26% reading, 58% math.
Asian: 78% reading, 94% math.
Indian: 67% reading, 100% math.

You know, I really try not to make assumptions based on race (I've met very many smart blacks and hispanics), but seriously.

Cyan, there is a larger percentage of African Americans in low income areas than Whites in the same areas. Lower income schools do not offer the same level of schooling, therefore the scores are lower.

If you judge people off of statistics than I'm glad I don't know you.

So, indians and asians are smarter than the average american, no news there.

I think the titanic movie got one of the best endings in any movie.
The only way it would've been better was if some ice golem rose up and started beating de caprio to death then tossing him into the sea to resurface inside a block of ice.

OK, if you'll concentrate on African Americans, I will too. Statistics from other schools in the area (reading only):

White: 59%, Black: 11%.
White: 50%, Black: 30%.
White: 53%, Black: 20%.

OK, those were the first three schools I looked at, selelcted just because I recognized the names (so no manipulation of statistics here). If you want to do your own research, here's the site. Check the "School Improvement Plans".

Inductive reasoning. I see their actions at school, I see their actions immediately after school, I hear what music they're listening to and what it represents.

And you're right, I shouldn't make a general conclusion about a race in general from a group of statistics even just from one county, but my statistics were just a discussion-provoker.
