261 ft^2 * (m^2/10.76 ft^2) = 24.25 m^2

Um, no. If those numbers you gave are correct, Ekted is right. For future reference, Google has a good calculator program. Try searching 261 ft*ft to m*m.

Just convert feet squared to yards squared and then yards squared to meters squared.

Units mean nothing really. The only units that mean anything at all are radians.

Grav, schools have us convert just to give us practice. It helps us exercise our brains, helps us to think. There is no reason to learn about half of the things you do in math. The only reason why we do is to make us think better.

I have to multiply everything by 2.54 so you inch-tards understand what I'm saying.

I wasn't talking math, because really, math doesn't have units (unless you count degrees and gradians, which I don't). I was talking physics.

Can you guys do my homework to?

An old manuscript reveals that a landowner in the time of King Arthur held 9.00 acres of plowed land plus a livestock area of 19.0 perches by 4.00 perches. Here, 1 acre is an area of 40 perches by 4 perches, 1 rood is 40 perches by 1 perch, and 1 perch is 16.5 ft.

What was the total area in the more modern unit of square meters?
