Did you put your name in moderate.txt?
Moderate.txt is responsible for all the basic supervision modes (bong sounds, flag coords, freq numbers, wtfever else).

No, if you're SysOp, you should be on the sysop.txt

Mods are Mods.
SMods are SMods + Mods
SysOps are SysOps + SMods + Mods

I'm not going to be more clear than that, it is not required of an the average intellectual who posses no reading comprehension difficulties that I do.

If you read the guides posted at shanky.com/server you should have all knowledge.

People who can't figure out how to run a SubSpace server 15 minutes after reading those guides and getting a server up (not-withstanding all continuum/priit meddling derived problems, such as being forced to put down localhost as the new hacked subgame inability to handle 127.0.0.1) shouldn't bother operating game servers, of any game.
SubSpace is the simplest game to setup, it just gets more difficult from there.
