It belonged in global. There should be some kind of notice and there's no better place for it than global.

How about in the announcement forum, as a regular post, like the rest of them announcements!.
Could add a temporal announcement in the trash talk too, at most extreme.
You would think the forums been down for a week or something and people started screaming "server help is dead!"...sheesh, seriously now.
You can blow smoke all you like brainiac, anyone with decent logic know I'm right, whether you like or dislike me.
After all, it was few hours of downtime that none really cared about.
The regulars who come directly to the forums would know that mine go boom would've fixed it sooner or later.
And those that don't (aka those who actually come here to seek help on server/bots/etfever) actually drive through shanky.com/server, so they can see the main site is up, so they too will be (oh god I hope so) smart enough to realise that something went wrong and it'll be taken care of in time (obviously, if the main server helpl site is up, then it's not like the forums are gonna die, so give it a day or two and try again, can also email your question - there's a button for that in the main site).
Bottom line: (mine go boom posting global was) overblown, I'm overblowing it, and mine go boom is a dimwit.
