A bot that illegally connects to a phone service and is hidden so they don't see you making illegal phone calls with your bot hooked up with some teamspeak or something i've heard about where you can talk to players online in continuum with a mic.

FREE CALLS YEAH

OutlawGene - Sun Aug 21, 2005 11:35 pm

The point is free calls. Not even collect calls are free they cost the other person money. This means free long distance and etc. Telephones aren't free.

According to what you said - If they didn't have computers or teamspeak how could they use the bot?

So true. My family only uses a cell phone plan. Screw normal phones.

Well, I have enough minutes on my cell since I don't use a home phone, which means I'm saving money.

Cell phones are destroying society, now everyone has an excuse to piss off for a few minutes away from real life.

That's what this game is doing. Cell phones practically promote society, making people more social.

I dunno about this. A basic landline where I live is $20 with unlimited minutes and a clearer quality than a cell phone. Gimme a cell phone plan that matches this and I may look into it. (I only pay about $10/month for my cell, which is about to go drastically down when I don't have to call my parents every time I drive somewhere. icon_rolleyes.gif)

I don't know where you live, but here in NYC home telephone plans are running about $40 per month for unlimited nation-wide calling and free nation-wide long distance. With this in mind, we also need cell phones.

My cell phone plan right now is about $70 per month family plan, which means that the whole family can use those shared minutes (we have 1500); and also we have free long distance to the US and Canada, voicemail, caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, and some other useless crap.

So, we're paying around $70 a month for phone usage, without a home phone plan.

In the US, a lot of times landlines are cheaper because of the network infrastructures. In places like Japan however, cell phones are much cheaper.

poo. Cell phones rules. I don't know where you who don't like them live but atleast here in this nortern european democratic and wealthy country of Finland almost everyone have cell phones, it's like only ppl who's over 80 who don't have. and kids get a cell phone around 8. Nokia Yeesh. Most families don't even have a normal phone. ^^

Agreed Cyan. I hate having ANY phone. It makes it so people can call you. 9/10 times, I am asleep, and the other 1/10 I don't want to talk to them anyway. Only redeeming value of a phone is being able to call for pizza.
