I just verified the URLs; the addresses do work.

The server doesn't have a commands.hlp by default. It reads the command.hlp out of the /Continuum/ folder on the client if the server doesn't send one (just like it does for graphics and sounds).

Use the default commands.hlp out of your client folder as a template; modify it accordingly with notepad; then *putfile commands.hlp. Modify the arena's ?set MISC:levelfiles:commands.hlp

Let the arena sync its settings, re-enter, the F1 will now be updated.

As with any file, it doesn't need to reside in the LVZ. However, once it's there. It's there.

IE: say you had ship1.png in the misc:levelfiles, it downloads into the client's folders -- even if you remove it from the levelfiles, Continuum will still read it.

C:\Program Files\Continuum\Commands.hlp < Right Click > Open with..>Notepad.

It should work for you.

when i open it in notepad, it is blank. and no contempt that has nothing to do with the f1 help file.

...

Open the commands.hlp in your /Continuum/ folder with Notepad, as stated above. This should not be blank by default (unless YOU modified it).

Then 'SAVE AS' at some other location, make your changes, put it in an LVZ, upload, modify the arena config, and you should be set.

Component 'RICHTX32.OCX' or one of its dependecies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.
