I need a host so that i can work on my zone. Cause i have a router and it really sucks. thanx - Cazilani

You can always connect to your own computer, just use 127.0.0.1 for the ip address

I'd rather see a place holder that is edited out, then people randomly talking to someone who doesn't even exist in the thread because it was deleted. If posts are completely useless, or a double post, myself or other mods will go through and prune them.

What about being able to delete your own posts provided it was the last post in the thread and no one apart from yourself had viewed the thread yet?

Yes, I do agree with that. It can be useful when you have one of those "Duh, what was I thinking?" moments, but usually editing works just as well.
