Post subject: Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Helm's Deep

A couple weeks back I decided that I'd like to start on a Lord of the Rings zone for subspace. I made a relatively small map based on Helm's Deep. It's really cool, and with me and my friend's work, it's coming together really well. The only problem is that I have good reason to believe that the guy who said he was making a shipset based on Lord of the Rings races is doing anything but. I could be completely wrong, but either way, it's been three weeks with no updates but a "good, i g2g". If anyone is interested in helping me out here, please reply here. My friend and I are covered as far as maps, bots, setttings, grfx, lvzs, and such, but the most important part is missing! I'm also pretty bad at making tiles, so while I will be making my own, anyone who wants to give me a hand there would be greatly appreciated. I'm asking for alot, eh? I know, and respect your attitude of "learn to do it yourself", but I learned quite alot of stuff in the past month (2 weeks spent on vacation with no continuum), and I don't think we can do this on our own. Thanks in advance.

I'm glad my request was recieved so well... Unfortunately I suck at graphics as well, and we're in GREAT need of some help. I hope everyone is as friendly as you, as well.

Congratulations on an intelligent post. It's something that's rare around here as far as zone requests go. Once I get my normal internet back later next week I'll see if I can dig up some help for you.

I'm trying to do a tv show as one of my arenas in my zone currently in dev
i'll tell you there are programs out there to do like polygon based stuff that are somewhat easy to use. I think. So those may be the best thing you could use to make human models. specificly. It will work great for my arena though. I'll probably make some other stuff in it too for that arena so it sets the same look throughout the whole arena.
