Uh. A server? You mean a computer? Serving what? Punctuation?

Ok well, start saving your allowance and maybe in a year or so you'll be able to afford the setup fee's and the first month of a decent server. Granted, this would only be a celeron server but it's a start right?

Dear God, he just asked a question 1st. You don't need to yell at him for it, even if it was asked with bad grammar.

1stStrike wasn't yelling at him at all, heh. icon_confused.gif

I think fergusoncory14 doesn't really know what he's asking for, and what he needs.
I just think he wants to buy a new computer, heh.

Question is, how did he get to this forum?

I know this is a public forum, but isn't it a little odd?

He lives in Michigan, and Optimum Online is only in the Tri-state area.

I was under the impression that the state or city or whatever of Michigan is inside the USA, yet he doesn't speak English well...ac_tellme.gif

His alias sounds French.
Is there a place in canada/quebec called Michigan?

1stStrike is still mean. :-p

Anyhow, I live in Michigan too, but the only decent Cable ISP is Charter, and that's in only about 1/2 the state. Unless you live somewhere mainstream like Detroit or in the vacinity, or if you live in the Tri-Cities (Saginaw, Woo woo!), you're probably SOL.

Ok ferg. This forum is about server help in terms of the game SubSpace -- in relation to running a server or zone in this game. So your post isn't really on topic. Maybe you'll get a good reply.

That wasn't me yelling. And yes, I am mean. I was being sarcastic though.

Anyway, for an ISP (none of us call it a server) you should check out broadbandreports.com

You can find reviews of local isps there which should help you out. Hopefully. I know it did for me.

or this?

IBM X-Series? I do not reccomend either for playing computer games.

Build your own computer.
