Post subject: Confess+, wtf?????

mr./mrs. Confess+, what the (please refrain from swearing) have I done to you????? I were to the beach while you (what it seems to me) messed with my zone. The owner name was Confess+, and a guy I talked to said the welcome msg was something like Confess rules or something like that. I don't know what I have done to you because I haven't eaven seen you in subspace.

please stop making topics directed at one person. There's email, in game ?messages, in game chat, as well as forum messages for this purpose.

It may be a good idea to post on here because maybe one of the people reading will know something about what happened. It's like ?messaging a lot of people at once.

ok now for the question i never really was sure of: does *sysop do anything except making the player you give it to able to have super and such?

/*sysop gives the player temporary sysop powers.

They can do whatever a sysop can do (settings, files, etc). So don't /*sysop anyone.

ok how about this morning: I came into my zone and the greating msg was confess+ rules or something like that (weak mind) and periodic messages saying 'Confess+' I don't know who it was and how he did it because I don't have any staff. Going to sweden soon.

but i tried giving it to ppl and tell them to try and use commands and none worked... maybe checksysop=0 ?

If you have it set so sysops have to be validated:

[Validation]
CheckSysop=1

then /*sysop'ing someone who is not on sysop.txt will only allow them to see private arenas and bypass arena caps, as well as be able to be *super'd and *ufo'd.

Arena cap is when you set an arena to only allow a certain number of people in it. Say for instance if you set a cap of 25 on arena "racing," only 25 people would be able to be in the arena at any given point (unless they have powers).

my first language is swedish, second finnish and I 'can' speak english because it's a subject in school, not a 'national language' btw anyone else having trouble with quick replying?
