Trash Talk - How did bargeld get sysop in alpha zone? Gravitron - Sun Jul 10, 2005 2:21 am Post subject: How did bargeld get sysop in alpha zone?
Did he grant ghostship sexual favors in SScon'97?
I win him (read: own), in alpha zone, and I trash talk him for it, and the newbie can't take it so instead of using ?ignore, like I do on half the people there, now he abuse *shutup on me each time I go into the zone.
Now, I don't care not being able to trash talk but, this of ruins my game because I play their dueling arena and then I can't talk to the bot.
So I just sit there disrupting the game because I can't punch in !ready.
Once again I am proven why I loathed SSC all these years.
As much as I rather get out with all the politics, I just keep seeing times and times again all the wrong dirty people in all the wrong positions.
Just all the more reason why little entrepenuers like http://www.iadmins.net should be taken seriously.
In paid-for games for certain, as the player base in late begins to wake up and its awareness rises, CSR is becoming very important.
And bad sysops like this causes mass player exoduses.
The companies themselves start now to realise how important it is to have a professional game master running the show.

Well aren't you a cute little mini-RMS.

My name isn't Richard, I'm not working in the mail, I'm not german (that's bargeld, he even allow nazi squads in alpha), I'm not monitoring anything, I'm not square and I wasn't being cute, so what's your point?

No One Cares.
Play in another zone if you are so unhappy, or make your own "happy" zone where communism rules and everything is "fair." Gravitron, you have been playing this game for a long time, you know that no one on this forum cares, so don't waste your time posting: get another hobby if you are so inclined.

Was just a harmless vent.
What are you being so up in a giddy about?
Looks like to me that YOU care, and this reminding you just how sux the situation is and make YOU unhappy.
Don't conform with it, vent untill they burn down.
(When "Beitar Yerushalahim" loses a soccer game they cry "lisrof ta mohadon" - burn the club, and proceed to light up the stadium.)
[edit]
cry as in yell

Actually, that is a very good point gravitron. This is what AOG tries to prevent from happening, along with bettering the zone.

Wee, guess what, bargeld read this thread and now b anned me from alpha.
Gooooo abuse newbies!
Contempt+ - Thu Jul 14, 2005 6:22 pm Post subject:
And how can AOG prevent something that happens all the time?

iAdmins? Outsourcing SS staff? You've got to be kidding.
Yes, let's have outsiders who have no clue how SupSpace works running our zones. Just like they have Indians answering the phone for a street directions service I know of!
Anyway, if you wanted to stop the *shutup, you should have just shutted up yourself. Have some restrain, for goodness sake.

Got something against Indians?
I agree with you though about the shutup, Subspace isn't a babysitting service, nobody's going to warn you 30 times like your mom.

I don't have anything wrong with Indians. I'm perfectly happy when I hear an Indian answer the phone for tech support or something. But when the Indian has to ask you how to spell a name of a place when you're asking for directions, things have gone too far.
