Post subject: Gundam Wing looking for host.

A group of friends and I are remaking the zone Gundam Wing. We do have permission from the previous owners to remake it. Many people I know have a grudge against the zone, but I can assure you, we are not like the previous owners. Currently we are being hosted on the SSXR network and do not like the cable connection or the netops tyranny, so here I am looking for a good reliable host with a fast connection.
Gundam Wing is a zone with fast gameplay and lots of flagging, Mainly a bombing zone but some well placed bullets can make all the diffrence. If you have never played in the Gundam Wing zone before I reccommend you come try it out. We already have a map, bots, and LVZ made for the zone. We have a large fanbase for the zone so we usually hit populations of about 20 or more with only 1 bot. The zone settings are some of the best settings in continnum in my opinion, veterans can be owning while newbies can still be having fun.
We have a small staff to start out with, but we are always developing the zone to be the best that it can be!

I'm not really nice, but I'm not sure I want to try it again. If I do host it then they wouldn't start out on SSC either. They have to prove themselves to me first.

I'll leave it to all of you to check out the zone and give some opinions since at this time I'm unable to get into the game since I only have access to government computers and can't install any software. You can either post here or PM me what you think of the way the zone is now and the way it's run. I'll at least give them some sort of consideration since they took the time and effort to make a good post and follow my guidelines.

For all you dumb asses out there that didn't follow my guidelines just think that you could've potentially been hosted by now if you took 2 minutes to read my very clear and concise post about what to say about your zone.

First of all, thanks for considering the zone.

Next; I just want to say that the previous Gundam Wing zone died because the owners didnt really care about it. Especially Death+.
The staff we have right now cares about the zone, we are not going to let it die like it did before. We have a large fanbase and many many loyal members that would play in the zone even if we would be going through a rough patch like we are now. Another thing that differentiates us from the aforementioned staff is that we actually want to build a larger population, so we try and help the newer players instead of scaring them off.

Sorry, Another problem that we are having with SSXR is that about half the people can not download the zone! The only way you are going to be able to enter is to enter the IP and Port.

This is one reason why we are only hitting populations of about 15.

Very nice. I don't like how the bases are in each corner... Well, some of the map is ok. I could help if you want. I am a pretty OK mapper.

ANYWAYS, we need a host, and fast. i'm removing the zone because the netops are abusive and are really pissing me off. Santino made one of my mods quit.

For the 12th time (I should make a sticky on this) I can't even get into the game until my computer gets here in a few weeks. So until that time comes that means no new zones will be hosted either. Not intentionally but I'm a bit lacking over here.

I have never heard of a zone on that network anyway.

If you manage to get into our zone, there probably wont be a population there. This is because of two reasons.

1. Server extreemly laggy.
2. Nobody can download the zone. -.-

sorry but once we get on a decent server we will have a population.

Our players decided that it's time to change the zone name. I personally dont think we can get anywhere with our current name and reputation gave to us by death+. We have not decided on a spaceific name yet, but we decided the zone would be 3D with basewars type gameplay. more info later.
