Ok I have DSL right now with a router wireless. We are thinking about getting comcast because sprint apperently sucks. Well my dad thinks so. Anyways i was wondering which is better to have DSL or COMCAST? My friend had comcast and he said it was better but i had dsl forever and it always seemed the fastest. So what do you guys think?

If you use Comcast, I'd recommend changing your DNS servers to 4.2.2.1/4.2.2.2, as Comcast's DNS servers have been very problematic for the last month.
Get whatever is best for the price. If you need more speed, and its only $10 or so more, get cable. But if DSL hasn't been a problem, and you don't need that speed, then unless cable is very close in price, stay with what you have.

Besides the fact that Comcast is evil, you need to consider two things (correct me anyone if I'm mistaken):
DSL is dependent on physically how far you are from the service provider.
Cable (Comcast) is dependent on how many other people on the same connection as you (your neighborhood usually) would be using the connection at the same time you are.
I have DSL, and its a constant speed of about 40 KB/s. I have two different friends with the same cable plan, and one get several MB/s while the other gets around 25 KB/s due to the people around them.

Well were probably the only one with the internet around here anyway. Also its i think the same price of cable. But i guess we are changing because my dad called today. I really hope it wont make it slower.
