okay, i used the linksys router tutorial except i have some things wrong

1. i am not able to play in my zone on the same computer its hosted off of, is this common?

2. none of my .dat files are being written to. IE everytime somone enters the zone it asks them if they want to make a new user even if they have been in there before.

1. Add a custom zone with all the same info as the directory entry but with IP 127.0.0.1.

2. Make sure you shut down subgame before subbill. Also, use catid's biller. (Found on catid.ssihosthing.com.)

Zone name gets stored in zone.dat which can be opened in SCOREMAN.exe.

Are you sure? Subbill generates score.dat, squad.dat and user.dat. zone.dat is used by cont to store a list of your favourite zones.

If you close the biller with shift+f12 then it will save accounts, scores and banners.

Yes, I'm sure.

That's a bogus read, Purge. Scoreman can read user.dat, score.dat, and squad.dat, nothing else.

And catid's biller is shut down with 'q' or 'x'.

And make sure your GroupID > 0.
