i was wondering, since in subgame has the /*thor command which control's the thors prox distance/damage, does asss have one? especially a function you can call in code....i was looking through the .h files and i didnt see anything, maybe i missed it? also, if this isnt implemented in ASSS, then you can move this to ideas/suggestions for asss, but if anyone knows the answer, please let me know asap before i start this project tongue.gif thanks

I believe changing the weapon level in the thor packet will have the desired effect.

We have some... erm... "classified" test modules in hyperspace that back up what d1 has said.

Yes, because instead of documenting and adding a new simple function, you keep it private?

In this case, I have reasons.

Besides, the implementation is a simple outgoing packet, not a core.c redesign to add *thor like chambas is probably looking for.

It wouldn't take a redesign of anything, just a bit of code in game.c. The only reason it's not there is because I gave up trying to figure out how *thor worked back when I was looking at that stuff, a few years ago. I thought I tried the weapon level thing, but maybe I just didn't think of it at the time. Anyway, it's relatively easy to do this the "right way", so if you need it, go ahead and add it to game.c and send me a patch.
