didn't see a topic about this..
yesterday the SSC billing reset the scores without making the zones recycle, i guess thats a new feature? i guess priitk is still somewhat around and is doing something with the game?

on a side note, there was no message about the reset, they just .. reset and no one seemed to know why

Um... I believe that they score-reset every other wensday, and they have been doing it for years. None of the zones I've ever been in needed to recycle, but you will need to leave the zone and re-enter inorder for the server to record your score after a reset.

Well it was always like that the biller connection got lost, biller got scoreresetted and it connected back to the zone.
Recycling the zone, however, has always been a choice of the zone owners / sysops.

It seems like SSC has installed some new feature. It scoreresetted itself without disconnecting. Together with a server update aswell. I seen some weird (new) messages in the *log of something about "received biller scorereset request".
As soon as someone (re)entered pub their scores were reset.

I find it very neat, no more biller disconnects

yeah sorry, thats what i meant

but it was not too long ago when the zones had to recycle .. 2-5 years? : P

hmm, or maybe there was no reset at all, and a mod messed up and instead of scoreresetting himself, he scoreresetted the arena...i remember i did that once, like 5 years ago lol

Like I mentioned before, I only ignored topics in which were viewed by viewforum.php or index.php. I didn't touch anything to do with the searching or other little mods.

Fixed it so that now, on the index, the post count since your last visit doesn't include posts in ignored topics, and when using the search=newposts feature (clicking that link), it won't show ignored topics.
