General Questions - need help getting zone to connect

Post subject: need help getting zone to connect
ok im hosting a zone and when i run subgame 2 and subill it says billing server connected and stuff
im running this off my home comp and keep in mind i have 2 computers
i have a cabel modem with a router that makes internet go to both comps. also their is a firewall
i go into and get my zone and put it on the list but it in red and it wont turn green so i can go in.
here is the server ini tell me what i need to change to make the zone work
(i took out the pw for obvious reasons.)

go to www.whatismyip.com and put the ip from that site in place of localhost

ServerId=4483
change to 9000

change to localhost

And also; do not add your zone from the server list.

Click Zones.
Then click Add Custom.

Type any name you want. It doesn't have to be the name you have in Server.ini. Only you will see this name.

Now in the IP box you type 127.0.0.1

For Port, type the same port as it is in server.ini.

Thats only if you are running it from a local host.

I guess you should change this:
Billing:GroupId=1

I don't see any other mistakes that could cause big problems.
What's going wrong?

Did you try entering it through your local loopback (127.0.0.1)?

Try connecting with "Add Custom Zone" and your local IP. (If it's the exact same problem, and you have 2 computers, then you'll need to use your LAN IP, and not 127.0.0.1.)

I have a problem related somewhat to this post. I have the exact same setup (aside from the port number, passwords and the corrections that have been suggested) that these gentlemen have posted but, the result is a little different. My zone is green and when I try to get in a window rudely interrupts my connection saying that I do not have permission. suggestion(s)???

Did you follow the instructions in "how to update.txt"?

(MGB, I think that should be combined with the readme. As little as people read the readme, I think they read it more than some random text file.)
