I have a question about RESELUTION, how can it be made so that the GFX show up normal under 8res? instead of 16 or 32? Does it depend on the file type (PNG/BMP), or something else? How can i make it so the gfx look normal under 8bit?

You must map your images to the Subspace palette when converting to 8-bit.

I've noticed some color differences in JPG and PNG on different resolutions...well of course they have color differences, but JPG looks better on a smaller resolution like 800x600, for example.

PNG has a better compression than BMP does, and it still looks as great - but not entirely. sa_tongue.gif

Do you even know what any of those formats are for? Seriously, this has been a few times I've seen people going around here posting misinformation about image formats.

Read up a bit.

Use the SS palette in 32-bit as well as 8-bit.

This negates the reason to use 32-bit. If there are only 256 colors in the image, 32-bit is just 4x the size for no gain.
