Some of us happen to make money by selling our code, so I'd be very kind of you not to request warez on a site designed to help others run hacked/cloned software.

Thank you. Instead, enjoy some nice mother fuckin' science, you god damn idiot.

mine go boom, and what code is it that you "sell"? all i need is a program that is easy to use, like Macromedia fireworks+dreamweaver, but its not compatible with windows ME, or else i wouldnt be asking where i could get paint shop pro 9 with longer time to use.

dont take it personal but you guys take it serisouly for such a small favor, i wasnt asking personally for the full version, basicly asking for a longer trial period if there is one.

I do subcontracting work for some companies, mostly through people I've meet in Subspace.

I do take asking for warez seriously. Its one of the few things that could easily shut down a site, and I want to have no part of it here.

i agree with warez being bad...all thanks to cypherjf lol

No, you didn't. But you did ask for it.

what i dont understand is that i stopped asking, i only asked once. so this topic should be locked or something right?

Its still open for discussion of some good old science. One of my favorites:

Argon is heavier than water? That doesn't sound right.
Cyan~Fire - Tue Mar 15, 2005 7:19 pm
Post subject:
Well its atomic weight is around 36 (atomic number 18, if I remember the table right) and water's is 18, so it makes sense to me.
Dr Brain - Tue Mar 15, 2005 9:05 pm
Post subject:
But water is far more dense than most gasses. So a small difference in weight shouldn't be enough.

Think about it this way: Argon is what fills lightbulbs. A lightbulb isn't very heavy.
Cyan~Fire - Tue Mar 15, 2005 9:28 pm
Post subject:
Well, it's double the weight and you also have to consider how gasses compress. I guess the gas compresses in the bottom of the tank and then you can somehow get water over it or something?
Bak - Tue Mar 15, 2005 10:05 pm
Post subject:
water doesn't float on argon, don't be silly.

Argon's density is 1.784 kg/m^3 while water's is ~1000 kg/m^3
Cyan~Fire - Tue Mar 15, 2005 11:06 pm
Post subject:
Is 1.784 km/m^3 really greater than 1000 kg/m^3?
Dr Brain - Tue Mar 15, 2005 11:21 pm
Post subject:
No. it's more than 500 times smaller.

If you compressed argon 500 times, and poured water over it, you'd have the makings of the ultimate water balloon.

Sorry, I meant less than, I was just making fun of the 1.784 km/m^3. But uhhh, yeah, I think Bak's right: Let's stop undermining God!
