Can you do it so the email the board sends you tell you who replied? This way I get a rough idea of how urgently I need to read it. TIA.

A problem with that is what if someone who you wouldn't think would qualify as urgent posts, and then afterwards, someone who does post?
I might be looking into making a quick hack so if a moderator of a forum replies to your post, then it might send another email saying that they did.

I'm not saying I don't read replies to my posts, it's just that if my ISP is about to disconnect me I know which posts to read first. (Yeah, rubbish ISP).

I have another idea, can you do it so it says which forum the reply was in? This would help since I often forget (or don't memorise it in the first place).

Why not just send you the entire reply by email and be done with it.
You get who made it, to what subject, and the whole reply, saves you need to login to the forum to get all this info.
As next stage, we can make it so you can post reply via email.
Infact, lets just turn the entire forum onto a newsgroup instead.

Reply by email wouldn't work as it would only send the first reply and not any of the following replies.
