I got this gay ass winXP hebrew installed, because we got a lisence for it and these damn things cost shitload of cash so I don't have the normal english one.
So I was wondering, if any of you could locate somehow, somewhere, something that can switch this damned left2right browsing of the windows explorer to right2left.
It's killing me.

Fucking gay microsoft.
Fucking gay windows.
Upgrade my ass, it's all big downgrade.

I want win98 back!

Exactly what do you mean by left2right browsing?
And why the hell are you using Windows Explorer? There are a lot of free file managers out there which dont suck..

What's wrong with Windows Explorer? It's pretty much how most popular file browsers are...tree view and traditional view.

Anyways - I suspect you can just go to microsoft.com and search for like "language theme" or something.

Yeah, I don't quite understand what you mean by "right2left browsing". icon_confused.gif

This is what I mean, and it's driving me insane.

Imagine pressing home while browsing files&folders, trying to get fast across to one, and it goes to the extreme left, every time, after years of being used to right 2 left reading.

Imagine this text, being aligned to the left border of the window, each time you open notepad.

A problem for what you are looking for is that it has to be changed globally or not at all. In notepad, it is as simple as said above, but for Explorer/IE/everything else that uses the system to print its windows, you have to change your language settings to be left-to-right.

Windows's language settings are just a complete hack onto the OS and are really poor. They've mentioned that they are attempting to actually make it useful in Longhorn, but with them taking out features left and right to get it out within the decade, this feature may not make it either.

Sorry. Hopefully it isn't too hard to read hebrew left-to-right or to get used to this hack of a language attempt?

That's all Microsoft does, hack. Pay a new OS-world star to build your operating system, then hack it up for a few years, then find someone new and pay them to make something new.

Are you sure you're not mixing up left and right? Because this text is align to the left border on my screen.

His screenshot is definately aligned on the right. Left hand is the one that makes the "L" correctly.

Yap, I got mixed up, happens at times.
Maybe it wasn't a complete sentence (like, spawned to left for years then all of a sudden its now aligned to the right).

No clue really, my memory span isn't longer than ten hours.

Eitherway, suxor.

And distort, I was only quoting Duke Nukem.
