Ya i heard about this off some site which is hard to understand http://cost.cordis.lu

it just came out on the zdnet story

its called
Holographic Versatile Disc aka HVD coming soon end of year 2006
I dont know the price but on CDR-Info.com estimated to be $15 each

anyways it holds up to 1.6 Tetabyte of memory lots of movies

Satellite has a lot of latency issues, but it's fast and good enough for downloading and web surfing. Not much of a gaming modem though.

Most satellite connections are downstream-only, that's why they're useless for gaming, indeed.
To get a useful connection you'd need a dual-stream satellite account which are expensive.
