Bot Questions - How...do i do THAT?

Post subject: How...do i do THAT?

While trying to add ship-bot to my recent zone it correctly finds the server but a red message appears telling me "Unkown Username - Register the BotName on the Billing Server. Well? What do i do to register it's name?

go in before as a player using the bot's name and password... although I think merv core should be automatically registering for you... are you using the newest merv core?

I am having the same exact problem now. Are there any other bots that serve the same purpose as this bot? Otherwise, how can I remedy this?

And what's worse... every time i shut down my subbill.exe and restart it and try to log in... it says "Unknown User"!!! It is as if it is not saving any user data. Any idea what I messed up?

Well I got the bot to work, but it keeps getting errors and leaving and coming back in. I really would prefer to use a different bot if possible. Any suggestions?

eh, nevermind...

as for anyone with the same problem....

if the bot starts acting up, make sure it is in the sysop.txt .... then shoot it a *sysop over PM to make it a sysop (the bot does not log in automatically.. what a piece of crap

Just add it to vip.txt so it doesn't enter and leave every 5 sec...and, uhh, the bot does login as sysop automatically if you add the sysop pw into the spawns.txt.
