Right now we do not have a website up and running but I am working on it so to apply please send us the form at http://achosting.net/zoneapp.html. Here are some specs on the server...
2.8 GHz Pentium 4

80GB Drive

1 GB RAM

1200GB Bandwidth

Private VLAN - 8 IPs (5 usable)

Windows 2003 server

There will be FTP access for your zone files and bots

Backups made every other week

Thinking about closing as right now I can not afford to pay for the servers. I owe 210 for this month and I have no other income coming in from the people that said they would help so until I can afford it again SSA is dead.

That's why you dont buy a top of the line server, or work out the money before hand, so you dont make a fool out of yourself running a server for about 2 to 3 weeks..

Eh, if you can't use it for some game server then use it for something else.
That's what I would've done if I bought a server, or something, for a Continuum zone (something which I would never do), there are a bunch of other things you can use it for. sa_tongue.gif

In fact SSA will not be closing after me and SideBurn talked about it and I will be dropping a server and moving everything to 1 server.

Come this next February SSI will have been around for two years. Not too shabby considering the quality of servers we've seen. Quite a few have come and gone in that time. Recently I was also amazed that an application for hosting I recieved had actual details about the zone, the person who wrote the email had great spelling and grammar and he was willing to put effort into his zone. I pointed out a few downfalls and he's taking a month to work things out before he contacts me again for hosting.

I'm most likely going to host the zone because most people these days are lazy bastards that don't put any time into their zones. That's why I don't bother responding to most applications anymore. Yes, you know who you are. I have my evil eye on you.

I went off topic a little but I thought it was something worth pointing out.

You could call the network LAG, people will flock to your servers to see if it is true.

Why not use the part of the continuum name in the server name like the old Subspace servers used the SS? CTME or, CTMW, or whatever..

I suggest you use the name I gave to sideburn/killerII. I came up with SSH (subspace hosting) It’s plain and simple to the point.

SSA was better for me at the time due to the fact I had one box on the eastern seaboard and one over in the UK. (Subspace Atlantic Server) Hmm I still have a box in a new York datacenter I was running it as SSE for awhile (GS said I could use the name) but… there are no zones worth my time to host.

Anyhoo nice to see people biting my ideas once again icon_smile.gif

Who came up with the name SSX? At first, I thought it was a zone dedicated to the SSX video game. Then I noticed many more SSX billers come up and I knew it wasn't an SSX zone icon_wink.gif

My question is what does SSX stand for? Is it like other "X" names like, "Samurai X"? Or SubSpace Xyrofoam.... sa_tongue.gif
