Yeah, so I connect my DSL and it sits online for about 5-10 minutes then disconnects saying "a network cable has been unplugged." Well, I replaced the ethernet cord so it's not that. Anybody have any other clues of what it can be besides the ethernet card? I'm guessing it's the ethernet card because I've had a problem similar to this when i had cable and it fixed with an ethernet card replacement.
run on sentences<3 but you guys don't like them :'(

Theres alot of things it could be... a router can do that when it goes bad also. If you have one i'd check it but directly hooking the computer up to the dsl modem. If it dont do it or if you dont have a router then try the eithernet card.

It's not the ethernet card. I think it's the wiring in my house. My living room light will dim down, then I'll my DSL will disconnect. I'm guessing it's bad wiring in the house.

If you're power's getting sucked by bad wiring in the house, I think you should get that checked out. That's a little dangerous.
