I want to put in a custom bong that will be mandatory to be downloaded, like it is downloaded with the arena, so everyone will be able to hear it. How do I do that?

Put the bong in an .lvz then include the .lvz in the arena.cfg file under
LvlFiles=file.lvz

sigh, here's how to do it.

1) Download the lvztoolkit from http://www.shanky.com/server

2) Have your custom bong at the ready and copy it it, then paste it into the lvztoolkit folder.

3) Open a new text document in that folder and type -

Code: Show/Hide
outfile=filename.lvz

File=custombong.wav

NOTE: On the outfile, the filename can be whatever you want it to be. But keep the .lvz

NOTE: On the File bit, please input the exact filename of the wav file, otherwise, the lvz will be totally useless.

4) Save this document as an .ini file.

5) Then, run buildlevel.exe and choose the .ini file you saved it as.

6) A file named whateveryounamedit.lvz should appear. Now, copy and paste that into your Continuum folder, and then...

7)...open your server.cfg file, and scroll down to [Misc] and go to

Code: Show/Hide
[Misc]
Levelfiles=yourlvzhere.lvz

icon_cool.gif Then, go into your zone, upload the server.cfg, then upload the sounds, and that should do it!

actually lp, since it's a bong sound won't he have to name it

bong#.wa2

like bong140.wa2 so he can do %140 in game to make it play?

I'm confused. I got the .ini with

Code:
outfile=start.lvz

File=gunshot1.wav

now how will I know which bong it has been assigned to?

start by reading my post.

then rename gunshot1.wav to bong150.wa2
and redo the lvz and it's bon 150

Hmmm, I put in new victory music, and I named it anything and it still came up right and worked :/

BTW, I didn't say he had to name it bong#.wav lol.

Anyways, thanks for correcting me :/

The filename extension .wav is the only one worth using as:
Just in case that isn't completely clear: use .wav.
