Trash Talk - No cheats??

Post subject: No cheats??

CONT is said to be created to uncheat Subspace. But there seem to be cheats for CONT as well. As I was playing "Hyperspace" today, someone called "DeynaDaKitty" seemed do have a speed cheat. While the others just flew with a speed where you can cross one sector in 5 seconds, he was able to cross the whole map within a second, so no one was able to hit him. He was also able to fly through walls.

Hyperspace is a uniqe situation. We currently cannot restrict to continuum only.

Please use ?cheater and report people like that. It's most likely that he/she/it was using a VIE client or a bot.

However, coming from you, I think you are overstating the problem, have the facts wrong, or both.

Hmmm... Why can't you? By the way. The server just went down so I think my high scoring is lost.

But it's a bit great if you can't because I can show you my client if it's finished.

Correction: Server is up again with all the players still online. Might have been a local problem - let me see if my high scoring is still there. It is. Meight have been a client problem again.

The server crashes a lot. You probably got caught in one.

Yes. Another question about cheats: My server allows VIE and I am SysOP so I can use Twister. Tried it on a Subspace (VIE) client (1.35) - but it didn't work.
