Hypothetical situation:

I own a freq, I type ?away ?freqkick

All my teammates macro under a really quick macro :Siaon:I'm dieing, spec me!

Then when they nearly die they press their hotkey and they're saved from a certain death, huzah!

Pausable fix would be to maybe allow for a timer between when the kicking takes place after the command is issued. For leagues and such, they would just disable the feature completely.

Er, yes, they're saved, but the lose their ship and have to go rejoin the freq. If the only issue here is that they don't get a death marked down in their stats, then I propose to make ?freqkick increment their death count. How's that?

I think that a short delay is a better solution.

The proper solution is that ?away should only send text, and not commands.

How about an option to set the delay and a boolean for increment deaths?

Oh, of course. ?away should never be able to send commands. If I could enforce that I would. But unfortunately we can only consider solutions that don't require modifying the client.

I guess I'll add a 2-second delay.

Hold your horses, ?freqkick does NOT move players to the freqspec, it keeps them on the current freq.

Anyway, I'm working on a fix to this that checks the to be kicked players energy

Er, wow, that was a pretty dumb oversight. Anyway, ?freqkick in cvs now correctly specs the target with a 3 second delay.
