General Questions - Biller Donkano - Sat Apr 24, 2004 1:26 am Post subject: Biller
Okay, I am running catid's latest biller and I got all the nessecary files to run the biller, I set up the settings appropratly and this computer I am on is able to host (and yes, all of the UDP ports are open) and wen I run subbill.exe and then subgame2.exe they connect and it allows it. Then I go in to continnum, it shows it online and well in the directory list, however it says it is offline when I add it to my list.

If I recall, that would not be a biller issue. Since subgame talks to the directory servers.

Does it turn red immediately, or just when you try to connect?
Are you sure the right ports are open?

Catid's latest biller is named subbill.exe?
All you have to do is edit zone.dat or add a custom zone withing ctm using your local IP.
This is a typical 'Zone name is red' type question. Now only if other people posted using as much detail as you do...

Smong, I re-named the biller name to subbill.exe, before it was SSBilling2.exe
Cyan-Fire, It is red right away and yes, the correct ports are open.
CypherJF, I figure it is a biller issue because it isn't connecting properly. I have never had this error with Shanky.com/server's biller, it only happened when I started using catid's biller.

Are you sure the server connected to the biller? The server may not be responding because it's trying to connect.

After a while the server will give up trying to connect to the biller (well within 5min). If CF is correct, check ctm to see if the zone has turned green by then.
Have you inspected zone.dat to see if your zone's IP is your local IP?

Well, guess what, my srupid brother told me that it was that computer was hooked up to host, and here it is the other computer that is. Nevermind this post until/or-if I post again. Sorry for any inconvenience.
