what are the .wav compression type supported by continuum?

i notice that some .wav compressions will not work in continuum and im just wondering if anyone know all the compression types that will work in continuum

Uncompressed WAV, uncompressed 256-color internal palette BMP files, LVL graphics which can't be compressed because they are only wireframes which don't have to be compressed, LVZ which is compressed itself and contains the uncompressed WAV and BMP!

Huh huh what what? Was that a sentence? Was it even an answer? I'm confused :'(

All 256-color BMP's have a palette.

Compressing a file with uncompressed contents is the right way to do it.

Continuum does not support 4bit .wav files, but the 8bit conversion compresses better anyway (assuming you are utilizing .lvz).

@Qndre
The .bmp's can be RLE compressed.

im actually talking about the bitrate of .wav files
cont doesnt work with certain bitrates
i just want to know all of the bitrates/type can work with cont

like PCM which works for example and

APCM doesnt work

LVZ does support .mp3's since the .38 or am i wrong? So why use .wav at all

You can stick any file you like in .lvz (such as viruses).

Yeah, except Cont won't replace in-game sounds with mp3.
