LIES! Trillian is a piece of shit. Miranda kicks ass.
As for CSS, use Google. There are plenty of tutorials.

Wow, I've been a trillian user for years, but now I think it has it's match. Can't beat freeware.

<- miranda user.
Its pretty good. AIM still overtakes it if you leave it installed and forces miranda to disconnect from AIM.

Bonus is you can add your own SS chat protocol into it. I did that once (hacked the BNet chat client), but now I never use SS anymore.
Of course, required sysop/smod to enter a zone and stay in, too lazy to add checkcums to it. Thats the advantage of open source.

Nice, now 50% of the site I cannot read without selecting it. And the graphs I cannot read any text unless I turn my monitor's bightness setting to 100%.
I have my monitor's color temperature set lower, because it does same me some power (21" CRT), and because, to me, it gives a nicer feel to images and text. But, a down side, is that with really dark things (such as TMNT cartoon shows), I cannot see jack shit. Your site is like that too. Dark grey on black background doesn't work too well.
As for the rest of the style, it fits much nicer in any resolution. But try and pick some colors other than black, dark grey, and what ever shade of blue the rest is. I cannot remember some of the websites that has them, but there are ones out there in which you can pick a few colors (such as the ones you have now), and it will find other colors that will work well.
