Post subject: Paintball zone, almost operational.

I am nearing completion of the settings/basic map of a paintball zone. For some reason, unknown to me, no other paintball zones exist, so this looks like it could be a pretty big hit.

However, I am not very graphics-inclined. I need a good paintball shipset, and some paintball graphics. I can do a good bit of them -- bullet and bomb images are easy enough, but the more advanced things like shipsets and tilesets (I NEED a tileset.) are a bit out of my reach.

The reason paintball zones don't exist is because Subspace is like one big paintball game in general.
Paintball is violence without people getting hurt. SS is violence without people getting hurt.

My advice for tilesets is just to create your own using other zones' tiles (I didn't say that). And sorry, but I'm not a graphics guy so I can't help you much with that.

there are a few paintball maps out there on SSDownloads, that have some good tilesets.. you should check em out...

But paintball is like trench - 1 shot 1 kill... :/

Yeah, there's pretty much no way around one shot/one kill if you're trying to realistically mimick paintball. And, in my opinion, this zone will basically end up being a Trench clone with paintball graphics and a different map. You'll have to do something unique, maybe with some bots, to make it stand out.

I had made a laser tag zone heh, that was gonna rock cause I had written custom plugins to help the game along, but never got a chance to finish it.. what a shame

I have a paintball tileset.... i have a game that has a bunch of graphics too.
i made paintball pub in NTC G-Force, you are free to use the tiles, they are just boxes tho. lemme attach the paintball.lvl with the tileset (nothing written in the lvl file, just tiles)
There. Copy of paintball.lvl lol. they are all 4x4 tile boxes.
i would make a game out of what i have using a bot.. but i dont know crap about C++. It would require CTF, A bot that eliminates people for getting killed and revives after 60 seconds, and if all eliminated, starts over in 5 seconds. Bot that has 2 teams, and they score until 50 points for 1 team, where capturing the flag = 5 points, eliminating the whole other team equals a point, owning the enemy flag and eliminating other team = 3 points. After a game is over, it will spam Ping, Wins, Loses, MVP (In wins). When a person is killed, it would say Killer (freq #) has eliminated Killed (freq #) I would also require i could adjust the bongs it uses for game, and that it does a random bong out of a list of them at: Beginning of game after all eliminated, when someone dies, when game ends (50 points. It would also make a scoreboard of the current scores using lvz objects.
Yes i know that is a big fat list, and im sure there is more lmao. If someone does that, ill be like: Holy (...) thx so much! omgomgomgomgomgomgomg *faints and doesnt wake up until later, when someone slaps me awake*
