ASSS Questions - FreeBSD?

Is it possible to run ASSS under BSD.. i mean i've had GLIBC 2.3 errors so i dunno maybe 1.1.7 works?

A while back I spoke to someone running an asss server, he told me to get FreeBSD so I assume that must be what he was using.
